President's Message

PEHEL is working to promote the welfare, health & educational services in the area. It  has selected to work in those fields where other NGOs hesitate to work. Therefore,  PEHEL is trying to organize cultural festivals to introduce and preserve the healthy  and colourful culture of Cholistan. Further, live stock development and wild life  protection are the other major fields of PEHEL.

FLOOD RELIEF CAMP (2009)

PEHEL Organization with the help of Social Welfare Department raised funds, food, clothing and shelter, delivered it to the flood victims and spent Eid Day with them.

EARTH QUAKE (2005)

A major disaster for the whole country which not only caused thousands of casualties but also the displacement of thousands of victims. PEHEL Organization played a vital role by fundraising from the community to help the survivors of the earth quake and helped the social welfare department in their rehabilitation efforts.

ROHI AMAN MELA (2005)

Another successful event for cultural heritage, it was arranged in February 2005 at the famous historical Noor Palace Bahawalpur to promote the colours full Cholistan's Culture worldwide. People from different cultures from all over the country participated especially the National Performing Art Group  with the cooperation of Ministry of Culture Government of Pakistan. On this platform local Cholistani Culture and its products was promoted to the nation.

ROHI AMAN MELA (2004)

Under the cultural heritage it was arranged at Darawar Fort in August 2004 to create awareness among the masses about the rich and historical culture of Bahawalpur and to promote peace among people.

More then sixty(60) women attend sewing and dress making courses.

DISPENSARY

Although P.O. have limited funds for all the activities but we are trying hard to provide basic medial facilities at our dispensary. We provide free consultation and medicine to patients who attends the dispensary.

OTHER PROGRAMS

Organization also participates in programs for orphans and disabled people with the collaboration of Government departments. Number of workshops and shows with other NGOs and Government department were arranged.
